ABOUT THE PROJECT

The PlugLocal App is a free, simple way for local businesses to connect to communities in their local area.

THE RESULT

I worked to understand what businesses and customers needed from the PlugLocal app and how best to meet these needs. From there I designed an experience that allowed customers to quickly and easily find a business in their local area while giving businesses a way to communicate directly with their patrons.

Together with the experience, I developed a simple, yet unique visual language that provides a clear hierarchy of information and navigational path through the app. The visual language builds upon PlugLocals existing brand to create a visually striking app that allows businesses to communicate directly with their customers.
